Privacy Policy

1. What we collect

When you use the AI Fluency Assessment, we collect:

  • Your account email address and password (stored securely, never in plain text).
  • Your assessment answers and the resulting scores.
  • A one-time set of demographic questions (job title, industry, your relationship with AI tools, education level) asked before your first assessment.
  • Records of how you got access to an attempt: a purchase, a redeemed access code, or similar.

We do not collect your IP address or browser details as part of taking an assessment.

2. How we use it

Your answers and scores are used to compute your results and, in aggregate with other test-takers, to improve question quality and fairness. Your demographic responses help us understand who's taking the assessment; they never affect your score. We never share your individual results with an employer or any third party unless you choose to share them yourself.

3. Who we share data with

  • Stripe, to process payment. We never see or store your card details ourselves.
  • Resend, to deliver transactional emails (purchase confirmations and similar).
  • Supabase, our database and authentication provider, which stores the data described above on our behalf.

We do not sell your data to anyone.

4. How long we keep it

Your account and its data are kept for as long as your account exists. If you ask us to delete your account, we delete or anonymize the data tied to it, keeping only what we're required to retain for legal or financial record-keeping (such as purchase records).

5. Your rights

You can request a copy of your data, or ask us to delete it, at any time. Reach out via the contact details on sophrosynesystems.org and we'll process your request.

6. Security

We use industry-standard practices to protect your data, including encrypted storage and restricted, need-to-know access to any individual's data. No system is perfectly secure, and we can't guarantee absolute security, but we take reasonable steps to protect what we hold.

7. Changes to this policy

We may update this policy from time to time. Continued use of the Service after a change means you accept the updated policy.
